About Charmy's Market
A unique shopping haven for Downtown and the surrounding areas of Columbus, Charmy's Market is women, LBGTQ+ and minority owned and operated. It's your gateway to fresh produce, dairy and other grocery essentials. Charmy's Market is also known for carrying a wide variety of specialty ethnic and local products.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Columbus with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Ohio may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 amβ9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (614) 702-7900. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is charmysmarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 111 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for asian grocery stores in Columbus. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Columbus is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Columbus is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Ohio's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

At first I really liked this small downtown market. However these are my thoughts now. Love that they have unique specialty items and the quality is good to above average. Things you could find at Trader Joeβs or Lucky market. Prices are high but more importantly no one has ever once said hello, no greeting nothing. To the owners customer service is a necessary part of ownership in any business. When Torro Market opens that will be my go to downtown which will be where I live Continental Towers. Again not once anyone has asked may I help you. Thatβs my opinion about this store, which has so much potential!

After almost 4 years, this was our first Persian restaurant experience, and it was absolutely fantastic! The Koobideh and Shish Kababs were delicious, especially when paired with Iranian sumac and AbAli yogurt soda. To top it all off, they served us some amazing crispy Tahdig. My kids and us enjoyed a lot. I highly recommend Charmiz to any fellow Iranian craving an authentic taste of home!

The first word that comes to mind when describing Charmyβs Market is welcoming. As you approach the store, you are visually delighted by a vibrant mural of saffron flowers. As you enter the store, you immediately see the sweet treats table which offers a large variety of baked goods. The food is always excellent. Whether you choose the hot bar, salad bar or the grab and go section, you wonβt go wrong. The grocery shelves are always well stocked and offer specialty foods usually not seen in most stores. Last but certainly not least are Sherry, Rezi and the rest of the team. A group of kind humans who make coming here a delight. Charmyβs Market is top tier and I am so grateful to have a store like this in my neighborhood.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Charmyβs Market. I originally stopped in for the food, but somehow ended up leaving with a couple items from the market too π This place is like your neighborhood grocery store, restaurant, and salad bar all rolled into one and honestly, they have some of the coolest and hardest-to-find items Iβve seen in a grocery store in a long time. I ordered the Lamb Kebab, Beef Kebab, and the Ghormeh Sabzi, and WOWβ¦ everything was fresh, flavorful, and tasted homemade. The kind of meal that has you planning your next visit before you even leave. And if youβre a ginger ale fanβ¦ do yourself a favor and try their Ginger Beer by Warped Wing Soda Co.. SO good. Definitely one of those hidden gems that deserves more attention.

I got to check out the delightful Charmyβs Market downtown on Grant Ave, next to the delightful Pierogi Mountain , where Hills Market used to be. Check this place out! Not only do you get all of the speciality groceries that Hills brought to town, but the Persian additions are wonderful!! There is a Persian food hot bar, stellar soup and salad bar, and sweets to turn any head. I am seeing some food and drink choices I haven't before on the Columbus landscape , and I frequent international markets. Don't shake the yogurt soda. It's, um, soda, and will explode. Ask me how I know -_-. I'm SO excited to see the spinach feta pastries again. I have no idea where to find these in town since Lucky's dropped them. Oh, and butter chicken in such an affordable price? I'm having jambalaya and chicken dumpling soup mix for breakfast from here now. Pardon me while I dig into my pistachio and almond barazek cookies after I write this!
